Summertime...
gardening a little,
sleeping in late,
staying up past midnight,
Friday afternoon dates.
Crazy cleaning frenzy,
reading something new,
cooking favorite recipes,
decorating guru.
Spending too much money,
shopping on the list,
organizing closets,
alarm clock noise not missed.
Taking a vacation,
swimming in the pool,
road trips often as possible,
Maxxinista fool!
Gotta get a good rest,
Gotta clear my mind,
Gotta return in August,
Ready one more time.
June, July, and August,
been so good to me,
That's why I'm still teaching,
